Columbus Circle Investors (“CCI”) is a specialized investment boutique of Principal Global Investors (PGI) with an autonomous investment discipline. By leveraging the resources of its parent company, CCI’s investment professional can dedicate their focus to managing client portfolios and delivering on client investment goals. CCI manages $2.0 Billion (as of 6/30/2021) and has a singular focus on providing long only, institutional investment management services, with experience in U.S. growth equities across Mid Cap, SMID, and Small Cap portfolios. CCI is a wholly owned affiliate of Principal Global Investors, LLC (“Principal Global Investors” or “PGI”), a $576.8 Billion  (as of 6/30/2021)  asset management division and member of the publicly traded Principal Financial Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: PFG) headquartered in Des Moines, Iowa. CCI specializes in the management of discretionary separate accounts for a variety of organizations including Corporate and Public Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution Pension Plans, Taft-Hartley, Endowments and Foundations and other institutions. CCI also offers sub-advisory services to mutual funds, high net worth individuals and a select number of sponsored SMA platforms, including model portfolio recommendations to PGI for their management of wrap fee client accounts.

CCI manages all of its portfolios using a bottom-up fundamental process called Positive Momentum & Positive Surprise. This philosophy focuses its research on what CCI believes to be the most important fundamental leading indicators, using confidence, magnitude of surprise, and sustainability as key components in the decision-making process.  Additionally, CCI incorporates a prudent macro overlay by using proprietary monitors to assess the direction of the economy and inflation. The long term trends often influence our bottom up portfolio construction process. Our experienced investment teams have an average tenure of over 16 years for each strategy.
