SMID Cap Portfolio
CCI’s SMID portfolios typically own stocks within the market capitalization range of the Russell 2500 Growth Index. The goal for this portfolio is to outperform the Russell 2500 Growth Index over a 3-5 year market cycle. This strategy is offered through various vehicles such as institutional separate accounts and commingled funds (mutual fund).
The SMID Cap team consists of two Portfolio Managers with the support of one Co-Portfolio Manager and five Securities Analysts with an average tenure of over 18 years.
Clifford G. Fox, CFA | Senior Managing Director/Portfolio Manager
Mr. Fox joined Columbus Circle Investors in October, 1992. Prior to this, he was Vice President of Equity Investments at General Reinsurance Corporation. He received his M.B.A. from the Stern School of Business, New York University and his B.S. from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Fox has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Society New York (formerly known as the New York Society of Security Analysts).
Christopher T. Corbett, CFA | Managing Director/Portfolio Manager
Mr. Corbett joined Columbus Circle Investors in May, 2006. Prior to becoming Managing Director and Portfolio Manager, Mr. Corbett held the position of Senior Vice President/Co-Portfolio Manager. Prior to becoming Senior Vice President/Co-Portfolio Manager he held the position of Senior Securities Analyst. Prior to this, he was an Associate Analyst for Banc of America. Mr. Corbett also worked as an Associate Analyst with UBS and as an Investment Analyst for Driehaus Capital Management. Mr. Corbett received his M.B.A. in Finance and Management and B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame. Mr. Corbett has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Society New York (formerly known as the New York Society of Security Analysts).
